First to go out will be the "smoke test," which goes to a small number of backers to be sure the wrinkles are ironed out. After that, the survey will go to everyone. 

Remember, you won't be charged for shipping or for anything added during the survey until everything is in hand and ready to send out to you, and I'll send an update before charging cards. I'll be double checking shipping charges and adjusting as needed if there are any accidental overages.
 
The final deadline and locking date for surveys will be closer to shipping time. Before they are locked, I'll send an update so you will have a chance to double check your shipping address. 

Remember, you MUST complete your surveys, pay for shipping and any add ons, and correct any card charge mistakes from the campaign before your rewards are shipped to you.

During the survey, you'll see two questions for naming the animals! YOU get to help decide what their names are! The winners of the contest will get one free big size animal -- if you submit the winning name for the raccoon, you get one big raccoon, and if you submit the winning name for the kitty, you get one big kitty!

I wanted to wait to send the survey until we had the latest photos -- thank you for your patience!

All the animals are looking good! The kitty and raccoon are just as we saw during the campaign. It took a little while for the factory to work out the design for the little raccoon -- the face and tail are very detailed! To keep those features, the little raccoon will use shorter fur.

All of the new animals are all so adorable! Here are the latest photos so you can see!

Here are the new prints and stickers! If you pledged for a physical reward, you get at least one print and one sticker as a bonus. You'll get to choose individually, so you can mix and match the print and sticker.

OR, if you prefer, you can add one of the extra-special metal sets (mini metal or rainbow) as an add-on during the survey-- so keep an eye out for that if you like fun new clicky math rocks for your dragon to hoard.

Our big dragon cats Ashe and Skye are running low -- so if you'd like to add one, now would be a good time to do so. While they last, we'll have these at our in person conventions as well, but now is a good time to reserve one if you want to adopt Ashe or Skye! As a reminder, all of our dragons are limited edition -- so if you like them and haven't adopted yet, snag one during the survey! If you add one, they will be set aside and shipped when everything is ready.

I wanted to keep things moving along, so the animals are already in production! Big and little raccoons, big and little cats have been ordered and are being made! Woohoo!! I'll update you when they're finished and shipping from the factory. After they ship, they'll travel on the ocean, arrive to me, and then I'll be able to start packing and shipping all of your rewards. We're still looking at the delivery promised in the campaign (October) or sooner!

It's been a bit since the campaign funded, and I wanted to send a quick update to let you know where we are!

The great news is, we're still on track for the original timeline for delivery (or before!)

Surveys will be going out this month so we can get final counts for production! The "Smoke Test" backers (about 5% of the total) go out first, then the rest of them will go out.

Shipping & add-ons won’t be charged until everything is ready to ship, and I’ll send notification emails before charging your cards, so keep an eye out for those updates.

Legendary Dragons & Campaign Exclusives

The Exclusive Legendary Dragons are in process, and the special fabric for their wings and the exclusive cloaks has arrived! Printing went beautifully and I'm excited to cut and sew these into their final forms -- they're such a nice compliment to the fabrics of the Legendary Dragons.

Have been approved and are in production. The new fabric is really fun, colorful and exciting! The new little bag of holding is also larger, so you can fit the little dragon more securely inside. I think they look like dragon eggs....

Here's what's next:

• Your credit cards have already been charged for your pledge. If your card errors (it happens!) you can double check and correct it. Most of these errors are super easy to fix. 

• Surveys will be sent in March. This will allow counts to place the orders for the new animals, special fabrics, stickers, and dice bags.

• After the order is placed with the factory I'll have a better idea of the timeline for production, shipping, and fulfillment. I'll update you as we go.

• As a reminder, once rewards are ready to ship, there will be a future charge for shipping and any additional add-ons (charged together as one payment). You must pay for shipping to receive your rewards. You'll get plenty of notice before your cards are charged, and you'll be able to update your mailing address if you need to do so.

• If you've chosen to pay over time, your payments will be due in 4 installments. You won't see your survey until after you've completed the last payment -- so don't worry if you don't see that survey in March. With about 3 days left in the campaign, I've added some fun new add-ons!
Here they are!

I've added the new bags of holding to the add-on options! 

You'll be able to get the new bag in little or big -- so if you choose big, you'll be able to choose during the survey from the solid black or the new fabric. If you choose little, it will be in the new fabric.

That means I'd love your input on which fabric to use for the new bags! See the survey attached to this update to weigh in!

I've also been working hard on a new fabric for inside the wings of the Campaign Exclusive Legendary Dragons.

This means that there are TWO options for these special, limited edition, handmade dragons.

You'll be able to choose your wing pattern in the survey - these are for the Green or Blue versions -- only a few of each will be made!

I drew this fabric, and it contains special affirmations in each one -- things like "loved" "safe" "calm" "wonderful" "amazing" "treasured" -- so you can have a special reminder sewn right into your dragon. These contain green, blue, teal and purple for a special, calm and unique fabric.

The cloak will be double-sided with both of these new fabrics.

I've also added some special Art Dragons to the campaign. These dragons are handmade, unique, and come with all the outfits, plus a special wooden plaque that says the year they were made. These are detailed, collectible, and made just for you.

Also available is a custom art dragon, giving you the option of making something unique and special just for you. Photos are examples, but we will work together to make something unique.

I've also enabled pay over time, which is a new feature, so you can pay in four installments if your order is over $150. (Please note that partial payments will not be eligible refunds.) We're trying out this new feature, I hope it helps!
